The bloom year

  1. January and February: Dormant oil

    Smothers overwintering scale and aphid eggs before spring.

  2. March and April: Deep-root feeding

    Fertilizer delivered to the root zone for the growing season.

  3. May and June: Insect and disease protection, with the foundation pest control spray

    Insecticide and fungicide through early summer.

  4. July and August: Insect and disease protection, with the foundation pest control spray

    Protection through peak summer stress.

  5. September and October: Insect and disease protection, with the foundation pest control spray

    Insecticide and fungicide as plants head into fall.

  6. November and December: Winterizing blend

    A fertilizer blend made for the cool months, fed to the root zone.

The May/Jun, Jul/Aug and Sep/Oct visits also include a free exterior pest control spray around your home’s foundation. Free fire ant spot treatments come with every visit.

Common questions

How much does Tree & Shrub Care cost?
Your quote gives the exact price. It is priced by the size of your property, and prices are before tax.
What if insects or disease come back between visits?
Call or text us, and we’ll come back and treat the affected plants at no charge. Treatments take 10 to 14 days to show their full results, so please allow that long after a visit before asking for a service call.
Do I need to be home?
No. Please leave the gates unlocked and keep pets inside on service days. We let you know about a day before each visit and leave a note afterward.
When can people and pets go near treated plants?
Each product’s label sets how long people and pets should stay off a treated area, and we follow it. Your technician will tell you what that means for your treatment.
Can I add it to my lawn care?
Yes. It can go alongside our Lawn Care program, or you can have it on its own.
Do you trim or remove trees?
No. We feed trees and shrubs and treat them for insects and disease. For trimming, removal or planting, we recommend a certified arborist or tree service.
